Architect: Quorum Architecture Size: 2,000 s.f. Cost: $350,000 Serving as general contractor, Stalco demolished two retail spaces in a Bay Shore Mall and converted them into a new 2,000-s.f. KB Toys store. The project encompassed installation of a 50-foot glass and aluminum storefront, simulated wood vinyl flooring, shelving, display cases, and other store fixtures, acoustical reveal edge tile ceilings, signage, painted drywall walls, and MEP and sprinkler systems. Stalco relocated bathrooms and sprinkler mains, and installed lay-in and high hat lighting fixtures. The team coordinated construction activities with the mall’s management.
