Alan Nahmias is the Founder, CEO, and President of Stalco Construction, Inc., which was established in 1992. He manages the firm’s operations, including field operations, construction personnel, and maintaining relationships with clients. Alan’s experience encompasses serving as project executive for commercial, institutional, educational, and transportation construction projects with a total value exceeding $2 billion. Under his leadership, Stalco has grown into a leading New York City, Long Island, and Greater New York area construction organization.
Alan is a co-Founder of Contractors For Kids, a charity established by Stalco Construction to financially support families of children with serious and chronic illnesses. To date, Contractors For Kids has raised more than $3 million for local families in need. Cooley’s Anemia Foundation Recognized Alan as the 2018 Humanitarian of the Year. The Marty Lyons Foundation named him the 2009 Men of the Year.

As Principal, Joseph M. Serpe supervises construction operations of the entire company and oversees all project management teams. He provides executive-level management expertise for the firm’s most challenging assignments, particularly those involving phased construction, large project teams, complex logistics, pre-engineered structures, and LEED certifications. He also assists in training and professional development of Stalco’s project managers and junior personnel.
Joseph joined Stalco as Project Manager in 2008 and was promoted to Vice President in 2012. He became the firm’s Principal in 2021. As Project Executive, he has managed the $35.8 million renovation and expansion of the Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology in Queens, NY; $30-million expansion and renovation program for the Three Village School District in East Setauket, NY; the $15-million, LEED Silver-certified renovation of the landmark Pier A in Manhattan; and the $8.4 million, LEED Platinum-certified, 60,000-square-foot Asphalt Green Battery Park City Community Center in New York City.
Joseph was recently recognized by Building Design & Construction magazine as one of the 40 Under 40 building industry executives in the nation.
