| The Town of Hempstead retained Stalco as general contractor for the new Malone–Mulhall Recreation Center at ANCHOR Camp (Answering the Needs of Citizens with Handicaps through Organized Recreation). The multi-purpose athletic and community facility will support year-round recreation and development programs dedicated to children and adults with special needs. |

| The new complex will consist of an 8,300-square-foot athletic/multi-purpose structure and an adjacent, one-story, 7,200-square-foot administrative building. The foundations will feature 250 piles with pile caps, grade beams and floor slabs. The structural system will include insulated masonry NRG blocks to increase the energy efficiency, a curved standing seam metal roof, and a steel frame roof support structure. The exterior walls will incorporate a Kalwall translucent glass wall system and feature large ornamental signage with anchor and compass symbols. The site work will encompass concrete sidewalks, a surface parking area, and landscaping. |

| The interiors will include an entrance vestibule, a gymnasium, a 1,700-square-foot stage with theatrical lighting, a nurse’s office equipped with a bath and shower, an office, a reception area, men’s and women’s ADA bathrooms and showers, a computer room, two multi-purpose rooms and a kitchen. Interior finishes and features will include self-leveling, urethane resin flooring in the gym; wooden bleachers; a scoreboard; and wall padding. |
