| Serving as general contractor, Stalco built a 1,300 s.f., one-story addition and renovated 6,200 s.f. of interiors of a Suffolk County-operated medical center. The addition features spread footing, slab on grade foundations, masonry bearing walls, steel joist and metal deck roof support structure, and rubber EPDM roofing. The project also included construction of a new driveway and surface parking for 20 cars. |

| The renovation encompassed two lobbies, 10 examination rooms and offices, and a nurse station. Stalco installed new VCT flooring, heavy-duty vinyl wall covering, a Formica reception desk, and nurse station desk, and repaired ceilings. The firm installed new MEP systems, including a new boiler, piping, VAVs, and ductwork. |

| The addition is located above a former landfill site, which necessitating excavations extending to the depth of eight feet and carefully managed disposal of the buried construction debris. The team continuously de-watered the site during excavation, as the water table was high. The parking and driveway work included installation of dry wells and a drainage system. |
