| Stalco constructed a one-story, two-tenant building that houses a North Shore-LIJ Health System medical diagnostic imaging center, as well as the headquarters and research and development facilities of MIDI, a medical-, life sciences-, and home healthcare-product development consulting firm. |

| The architecture of the new building reflects the colonial look of Smithtown’s historic Village of the Branch. The façade features brick and split-face block masonry, columns, and other ornamental architectural elements prevalent in the nearby landmark structures. The building has reinforced-concrete footings and foundation walls, a steel structural system, six-inch metal frame exterior walls with brick veneer, EIFS stucco in select areas, and colonial-looking Fypon PVC trim. The roof features decorative fencing and railing by Fypon. Each tenant space has a dedicated Kawneer aluminum and glass entrance. |

| MIDI’s 5,100-sq.-ft. headquarters house an open-layout design studio, office section, and engineering and design lab. The lab uses a computer-controlled rapid prototyping development process that includes 3D printing. The 10,000-sq.-ft. North Shore-LIJ Health System imaging center provides MRI, X-ray, CT scanning, and ultrasound procedures. |

| Construction work included a new surface parking lot for employees and visitors, curbs, exterior lighting, a keystone retaining wall, a connection easement road to provide courtesy access for a neighboring property, and an irrigation system for lawns, shrubs, and trees planted at the site. The team installed new utility connections, including power, water, and telecommunications. The property has its own septic and sewer system. |
