| Stalco served as general contractor for the new, three-story academic structure occupied by 500 students and faculty members. The building has received a LEED Silver certification and features a striking, modern, charcoal and ivory-colored façade, expansive glass curtain wall, and a high number of environmentally responsible design and engineering solutions. The school’s energy efficiency exceeds the state requirements by 30%. |

| The facility features a concrete foundation, steel frame, and concrete slab-on-metal deck floors. The site work encompassed an excavation of an area 205 ft. by 60 ft. to the depth of 14 ft. in preparation for pouring of the foundation. The concrete footing foundation system includes concrete piers with steel base plates and anchor bolts for the building’s 44 columns. |

| The building houses educational spaces, administrative and management offices, public areas, conference rooms, and support facilities. The structure features the most technologically advanced classrooms and auditoriums of the entire campus. |

| The first floor of the new school houses a striking three-story lobby atrium and reception; a tiered seating/gathering social space facing the glass curtain wall; an architectural stair; two 64-seat auditoriums; two 44-seat classrooms; faculty rooms; bathrooms; and support spaces. The other two floors house classrooms, faculty offices, lounges, and conference rooms. |
